Since theCovid-19 outbreak is now a deadly global pandemic, it has trapped many foreign students studying overseas between a rock and a hard spot. At Universities UK International everybody knows that many foreign students are having a tough time. This is a constantly changing situation, and guidance is being received on a very regular basis from institutions, PhD dissertation writing services and governments in the UK and other countries. No-one is excluded, the problem affects us all. Twice in a century, it is a global problem that cannot be solved by medical science or individual Government, it will take a collective response from around the world.

In an ambiguous situation, it is common to have a lot of' what if? for our concerns. Our nervous mind can often fill the blanks with worst-case scenarios in the absence of information, which can leave us feeling stressed, powerless or vulnerable. Some of the most powerful ways we can overcome stress and anxiety when other things feel unpredictable or out of our control are to concentrate on the behavior that is under our control. Here are a few ways you can take deliberate steps to take care of your physical and emotional health during this challenging time:

Empathy:
It is important to note that these global health issues also trigger confusion and panic, and there is no reason for your organization to add to this hysteria. Be transparent, communicative and empathic with prospective international students and ensure all staff is trained on what to do and how to address this crisis. If it's lecturers or admissions staff, each staff member needs to have a clear understanding of the health risks, how they can be mitigated and the role of the university.

Flexibility:
Universities would need to be more pragmatic than ever before with such a significant proportion of students choosing to delay before the health crisis has dissipated. Allowing students to delay, whether it's for a semester or a year, and providing more consideration around rigid application processes and deadlines would help alleviate the pressure on prospective students and provide them with more opportunities to study at your institution.
